Adam Cordero & Odin Scherer have been playing music together since they met at The New School in 2017. They recorded their first album, Ashland, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Ashland has been described by composer Kirk Nurock as, "lush, soaring, and healing." Since moving to NYC in 2017, Adam and Odin have performed at The Jazz Gallery, Smalls Jazz Club, Bar Next Door, Williamsburg Music Center, ShapeShifter Lab, and at the esteemed jazz station, WBGO-FM. Both musicians are invested in bringing the modern jazz community together through their work as founders of the music venue Julian's NYC, as well as through their newly-established label. Their sophomore album Sonora will be released on December 22, 2023.
